Easter cake, step by step recipe with photo


  • yolk 7 pcs.
  • sugar 350 g
  • wheat flour 1100 g
  • milk 500 g
  • butter 300 g
  • salt 5 g
  • vanilla sugar 10 g
  • walnut 200 g
  • hazelnuts 200 g
  • raisins 200 g
  • candied fruits 100 g
  • yeast 22 g
  • protein 2 pcs.
  • powdered sugar 250 g


Step 1

Make a dough, for this, slightly warm the milk to about 30 degrees, add 50 gr. sugar, yeast and 400 grams of flour, mix well, leave for 30 minutes. In parallel, beat all the yolks with 300 g of sugar until foamy and add the butter.

Step 2

Take out the dough, combine with the yolk mixture and add the remaining 700 grams of flour, add salt, vanilla sugar, knead the dough. At the end, add candied fruits, nuts, raisins to the dough and knead the cakes, put them into molds, filling up to ¾ of the height of the mold. Leave in a warm place for 45 minutes – 1 hour.

Step 3

Bake at a temperature of 165 degrees for 20 minutes (cooking time varies and depends on the volume of the cake)

Step 4

For the top, beat the yolks with sugar well and spread the cake on top.
